Essential Pest Control Services
1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By engaging Essential Pest Control Services ("we," "our," or "the Company"), you ("the Client") acknowledge and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please review this document thoroughly before scheduling or accepting our services.
2. SERVICE DESCRIPTION
Essential Pest Control Services provides professional pest management solutions including inspection, treatment, monitoring, and prevention of pest infestations. The specific scope of work, treatment methodologies, and expected outcomes will be detailed in your personalized Service Agreement or Quotation.
3. PRICING AND PAYMENT TERMS
Service fees are determined based on property size, infestation severity, treatment requirements, and ongoing maintenance needs.
All payment terms, including deposit requirements and final payment due dates, will be clearly specified on your invoice.
Late payments may incur additional fees as outlined in your Service Agreement.
4. SCHEDULING AND CANCELLATION POLICY
All service appointments require advance scheduling and confirmation.
Cancellations must be communicated at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled service time.
Failure to provide sufficient cancellation notice will result in a R500 cancellation fee.
We reserve the right to reschedule appointments due to inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances.
5. CLIENT OBLIGATIONS
Provide technicians with clear access to all treatment areas at the scheduled time.
Adhere to all preparation instructions provided before treatment.
Comply with all post-treatment safety guidelines and recommendations.
Disclose relevant information including:
Presence of children, elderly persons, or pregnant individuals
Pets on the premises
Known allergies or sensitivities
Previous pest control treatments applied
Structural issues or water damage that may affect treatment
6. WARRANTY AND SERVICE LIMITATIONS
Specific treatments may include limited warranty coverage as detailed in your Service Agreement.
Complete pest elimination may require multiple treatments depending on infestation severity.
Treatment effectiveness depends on Client cooperation and adherence to preparation and follow-up guidelines.
Warranty claims must be submitted within the specified timeframe outlined in your Service Agreement.
7. LIABILITY LIMITATIONS
The Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from our services.
Client assumes responsibility for removing or protecting valuable or sensitive items prior to treatment.
Pre-existing property damage or structural defects are not the responsibility of the Company.
8. HEALTH AND SAFETY PROTOCOLS
All products used comply with relevant health and safety regulations under Act No. 36 of 1947.
Our technicians are trained and certified in proper application methods.
Safety data sheets for products used are available upon request.
Clients must follow all safety instructions provided by our technicians before, during, and after treatment.
9. SERVICE TERMINATION
The Company reserves the right to decline service or terminate the Service Agreement if:
Unsafe conditions are present at the service location
Client fails to comply with preparation instructions
Client violates any provision of these Terms and Conditions
Treatment would violate applicable laws or regulations
10. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Africa, specifically in compliance with Act No. 36 of 1947 regarding pest control substances and applications.
